Who are Zebra?
Zebra Waste Disposal Services is the South Coast name of Taurus Waste Recycling Ltd, part of the privately owned Taurus group. We run our own permitted yard on Broadcut in Fareham.
What do your skips cost?
From £291 inc VAT (£242.50 + VAT) for a 3 yard skip. The price depends on the size and on which of our three zones your postcode falls in, and it covers up to 14 days. General, garden, soil, hardcore and wood skips are all the same price; plasterboard is priced separately. Full price list.
Which sizes can I have?
3, 6, 8 and 12 cubic yards. The 12 yard maxi is for light, bulky waste. For more than that, ask about our 20 and 35 yard roll on/off containers.
How long can I keep it?
Our standard hire is two weeks, at the same price. If you need it collected sooner, just pick an earlier day when you book.
Will the lorry fit?
Our skip lorries are 2.7 metres wide, so allow a clear 3 metres, plus room to turn if the skip goes round a corner. Send us a photo if you're not sure.
Do I need a permit?
Only if the skip goes on the road, the pavement or a verge. Depending on where you live that's Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council or West Sussex County Council, and we make the application for you.
Can I tip trade waste with you?
Yes, if you're a licensed waste carrier. Bring your registration to our yard at Broadcut, Wallington, PO16 8ST. Trade tipping.
Can my business have an account?
Yes. Apply online: we aim to process applications within 5 working days, and you get 30 days to pay each invoice.
